About the role: - Work on software development projects within Zscaler's engineering teams, contributing to real-world systems and infrastructure - Collaborate with experienced engineers to design, implement, and test features across the company's security and networking platforms - Participate in code reviews, learn best practices, and gain exposure to large-scale distributed systems - Take on responsibilities that span backend services, cloud infrastructure, or frontend components depending on team needs What you'll work on: - Building and improving software components that protect networks and data - Writing clean, maintainable code and learning how professional development teams operate - Debugging issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to production systems - Engaging with mentors and senior developers to understand architectural decisions What we're looking for: - Currently enrolled in the 2028 batch - Minimum 7.5 CGPA - Strong foundation in programming fundamentals and computer science concepts - Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn from industry professionals - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Good to know: - Internship runs from May to July 2027 - Pre-Placement Offer opportunity available upon successful performance - Application deadline is 15th October 2026
