About this role
About the role: - End-to-end feature development across backend and frontend, from database schema through user interface - Code review of your own work, teammates' pull requests, and AI-generated code - Writing tests that verify actual behavior and checking changes against live product monitoring - Shipping behind feature flags and tracking outcomes - Responding to shifting priorities and picking up whatever the team needs most What you'll do: - Turn informal requests into detailed written specifications - Work within established code conventions and improve them when needed - Build and maintain production web software at scale What they're looking for: - 3–5 years shipping production web software users depend on - Strong TypeScript: using types to prevent bugs, reading unfamiliar types, writing types that match real data shapes - Deep React knowledge: component composition, state management, re-render behavior, testing as users interact - Server-side fundamentals in NestJS or similar: dependency injection, request validation, REST design, database and cache integration - Experience navigating large shared codebases without onboarding - Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and understanding their limitations - Clear written English for specs, pull request descriptions and code review comments - Comfort with changing priorities and abandoning half-finished work cleanly Good to know: - Nice to have: Nx, Turborepo, data-intensive UIs, GCP, Kafka, BullMQ, Prisma, MongoDB, Redis, feature flag platforms, production observability tools, go-to-market or B2B data domain knowledge - Based in Bangalore, hybrid work
