About this role

About the role: - You will examine web-based applications, mobile apps, and desktop software to uncover defects and functionality problems - You'll spot edge cases and unusual user experience issues that might escape initial development cycles - You'll collaborate directly with product managers and developers to communicate findings and verify fixes What you'll work on: - Running test scenarios across multiple platforms and browsers to ensure consistent behavior - Documenting bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected outcomes, and actual results - Exploring features beyond the documented test plan to catch unexpected breakdowns - Participating in product discussions to understand how changes affect the user experience What we're looking for: - A mind that asks why and isn't afraid to dig deeper when something feels off - The drive to learn new testing tools and methodologies on the job - Someone who takes ownership of quality and speaks up when they spot a problem - Willingness to go beyond the scope of assigned tasks to strengthen the product - Comfort raising questions and seeking clarification when requirements are unclear What matters: - VirtualStation prioritizes curiosity, ownership, and your approach to problem-solving over formal credentials or certifications - You should be ready to think critically about how users interact with software, not just follow a checklist Note: Mention the role you're applying for and your current location.
