About the role: - You'll develop a Chrome extension that enables gesture-based control of YouTube video playback - Your work will focus on building features that interpret hand movements captured through a user's webcam - You'll create the core functionality allowing users to navigate YouTube content hands-free What you'll work on: - Implementing play and pause controls triggered by hand gestures - Building scrolling functionality for YouTube feeds and YouTube Shorts - Adding audio mute capability through gesture recognition - Creating playback speed adjustment features - Developing forward and backward skip functionality - Enabling comfortable browsing without relying on keyboard or mouse input What we're looking for: - Proven expertise in software development - A genuine drive to create products that push boundaries - Enthusiasm for joining a startup operating at high velocity - Ability to work on a full-stack extension that combines computer vision with video platform integration
