QA Engineer

About this role

About the role: - You'll design and execute test strategies for software products across multiple platforms and environments - You'll build and maintain automated test suites to catch defects early and ensure consistent quality - You'll work closely with developers and product teams to identify requirements and validate features - You'll perform both manual and automated testing on web applications, mobile apps, and backend systems - You'll document bugs clearly with reproduction steps and liaise with engineers to verify fixes What you'll work on: - Creating test plans and test cases based on feature specifications and user stories - Running regression tests to ensure new changes don't break existing functionality - Conducting exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential issues - Setting up test environments and managing test data - Analyzing test results and creating reports on product quality What we're looking for: - Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle - Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools - Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management platforms - Attention to detail and ability to think like an end user - Good communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders - Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
