About this role
About the role: - Monitor the performance of product categories and individual stock keeping units across order volumes, revenue, profit margins and stock availability - Study how customers behave, spot patterns in their choices, and uncover openings for growth - Collaborate with colleagues on decisions around how to price products, which items to stock, and how well each product is selling - Spot which products are moving slowly off shelves, which are bestsellers, and which are falling short of expectations - Create and keep up reports and visual dashboards in Excel or Google Sheets to track key business metrics - Join forces with teams across different departments to roll out category-focused business plans - Back new product rollouts and test runs, then track whether they succeed What we're looking for: - Currently in your final year of a degree programme or recently completed one, in any field of study - Sharp analytical mind with a talent for solving problems - Fluency with numbers and hands-on skill in Excel or Google Sheets - Genuine interest in understanding how companies, their products and their buyers operate - Careful eye for detail and the follow-through to see tasks to completion - Ability to thrive in a quick-moving startup setting where things change fast - Ready to commit to full-time work at our office in Bengaluru - Have done an internship before (nice to have, but we'll consider you without it) About this internship: - You will work within a real team on live business challenges, not on sideline projects - The role gives you direct exposure to how a startup thinks about products, customers and growth - You will build practical skills in data analysis and business thinking that apply across companies and sectors
