About the role: - Full-time internship position with pathway to permanent employment - Work on AI voice agents and conversational systems built on speech-to-text and text-to-speech technology - Design and implement agentic workflows that combine multiple AI components into cohesive pipelines - Integrate tool calling mechanisms to extend agent capabilities and connect to external services - Contribute to voice model training and refinement for natural, lifelike interactions - Build evaluation frameworks that measure and track production quality across deployments What you'll work on: - Creating voice conversations optimized for Indian accents and multilingual support - Developing knowledge systems using RAG architectures or knowledge graphs to enhance agent responses - Constructing dashboards and automation workflows using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools - Full-stack implementation including frontend interfaces, backend logic, and database design - Implementing rate limiting, security controls, and other production-readiness measures - Writing effective prompts that guide AI models toward desired behaviors and outputs What we're looking for: - Portfolio or prior internship demonstrating substantial AI or machine learning work in Python or Node.js - Hands-on experience building agentic workflows and AI processing pipelines - Track record working with voice agents, specifically STT and TTS integrations - Proven ability to wire up tool calling within agent frameworks - Familiarity with prompt engineering methodology and best practices - Proficiency with GitHub version control and Google Colab development environment Preferred experience: - Background training voice models or fine-tuning speech systems - Expertise crafting natural voice conversations across Indian languages - Understanding of RAG systems, knowledge graphs, or semantic retrieval - Experience setting up quality benchmarking and production monitoring systems - Full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure - Building dashboards using Claude Code, Codex, or comparable tools - Basics of database design, rate limiting strategies, and application security Scheduling: - Flexibility offered for students carrying a lighter course load during the internship - Applicants whose semester timing creates conflicts may explore joining in the following term
