Java Developer Intern

About this role

About the role: - Contribute to building and maintaining features that power a live product in development - Develop code that is clean, modular, and easy for others to build on - Work directly with Java to implement new functionality - Integrate and consume APIs as part of feature development - Identify bugs and performance bottlenecks, then implement fixes and optimizations - Participate in hands-on development from concept through deployment on a real-world application What you'll work on: - Full-stack Java development tasks across the platform - Collaborative debugging sessions with the team to resolve issues - Code reviews and refactoring to maintain quality standards - Version control workflows using Git for managing changes and collaboration What we're looking for: - Currently a student, or a fresh graduate, or someone early in their development career - Solid grasp of Java fundamentals and object-oriented programming - Genuine enthusiasm for solving technical problems - Genuine drive to grow and take full responsibility for tasks you own - Prior exposure to Git workflows (even basic experience counts) - Prior exposure to API design and consumption (even basic experience counts) - A genuine passion for writing good code and exploring how software works Good to know: - You'll work on a real product with real users, not toy projects - This role values learning and mentorship alongside delivering features Note: GitHub/portfolio links are welcome.
