About this role

About the role: - You will validate software features and systems to catch defects before they reach customers, working directly with development and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables - Testing will span both manual verification of functionality and automated test case creation to improve efficiency and coverage - You will document issues clearly, reproduce bugs systematically, and collaborate on solutions across the technology stack What you'll work on: - Designing and executing test scenarios across web applications and backend services - Building automated tests using programming skills to validate features at scale - Verifying API endpoints with tools like Postman and inspecting request-response cycles - Writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend behavior - Using version control systems to manage test code and collaborate with team members What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of programming concepts in Java, JavaScript, Python, or equivalent languages - Strong logical reasoning paired with the ability to break down complex problems - Analytical mindset with attention to edge cases and potential failure points - Working knowledge of APIs, JSON payloads, Postman, SQL queries, and Git workflows - Genuine interest in quality assurance and drive to master automation testing practices - Passion for understanding user needs and ensuring products meet customer expectations
