About the role: - Join Piramal Consumer Healthcare as a data engineering intern for a 6-month assignment - Work on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that move and transform information across organizational systems - Contribute to database architecture decisions and help optimize how data flows through the company's infrastructure - Participate in data quality assessments and develop solutions to improve consistency and reliability What you'll work on: - Building and testing SQL queries to extract, clean, and aggregate data from various sources - Writing Python scripts to automate data processing workflows and handle large-scale information transfers - Learning industry tools and frameworks used in modern data engineering practices - Collaborating with analytics and business teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions What we're looking for: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, IT, or Data Science - Solid grasp of SQL fundamentals and Python programming - Familiarity with relational databases and core data engineering principles - Demonstrated analytical thinking and capability to break down complex problems - Genuine curiosity about data and motivation to develop expertise in the field
