About the role: - Analyze business questions and requirements, then convert them into concrete data analysis tasks - Build and refine SQL queries using advanced techniques like window functions and CTEs to extract insights from datasets - Develop Python scripts leveraging Pandas and NumPy to process, clean and manipulate data for analysis - Create dashboards and visualizations in BI platforms such as Metabase, Looker or Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders - Support data pipeline development and orchestration work What we're looking for: - Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly window functions and CTEs - Python experience with data analysis libraries including Pandas and NumPy - Hands-on familiarity with at least one business intelligence tool like Metabase, Looker or Tableau - Ability to bridge the gap between ambiguous business needs and actionable data work - Clear communication skills both in writing and conversation Nice to have: - Background with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect - Knowledge of LLM APIs and frameworks including LangChain or LlamaIndex - Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift - Previous internship or portfolio project demonstrating analytics or data engineering work - Familiarity with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer metrics including CAC, LTV and NPS
