About the role: - Construct and scale data pipelines to power OZi's quick-commerce platform for parenting essentials - Convert unstructured and raw data sources into actionable business insights - Own the full lifecycle of data engineering systems, from design through production support - Manage and optimize large-scale data processing workloads to keep up with platform growth What you'll work on: - Designing ETL and ELT workflows that move data reliably from source systems into analytics and operational databases - Building and refining data warehouse schemas and data models to support reporting and machine learning - Writing optimized SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, validate and transform data at scale - Monitoring pipeline performance and troubleshooting failures to maintain data reliability - Collaborating with analytics, product and engineering teams to understand data requirements What we're looking for: - Solid background in data engineering with hands-on experience building production pipelines - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation - Track record working with ETL or ELT frameworks and tools - Understanding of data warehouse architecture, data modelling principles and dimensional design - Problem-solving ability to diagnose data issues and optimize performance - Genuine interest in architecting systems that scale efficiently as data volumes grow
