DevOps Engineer Intern

About this role

About the role: - You will help deploy applications across different server setups and production environments - You will contribute to building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows that automate how code gets released - You will gain hands-on experience with Linux systems, version control with Git, containerization using Docker, and cloud-based infrastructure - You will participate in identifying, debugging and fixing issues that arise during the deployment process and monitor system performance What you'll work on: - Assisting engineers with moving code from development into live environments - Supporting the automation of repetitive deployment tasks and release cycles - Learning how to manage and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines - Investigating and resolving problems in deployment workflows and server environments What we're looking for: - B.Tech, B.E., BCA or MCA student, or someone who has recently completed one of these degrees - Solid grasp of Linux operating systems and command-line tools - Understanding of networking fundamentals and how systems communicate - Familiarity with core DevOps principles and cloud computing concepts - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down and solve technical problems Good to know: - Experience with Git for version control is a strong plus - Knowledge of Docker and containerization is highly valued - Exposure to CI/CD tools and platforms will set you apart - Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider—AWS, Azure or GCP—is preferred - Basic shell scripting ability is an asset
