About the role: - Lead the architecture and implementation of large-scale systems powering intelligent automation and robotics fulfillment platforms - Own the technical direction and strategic decisions for key platform components - Drive the design of systems that handle complex warehouse automation workflows What you'll work on: - Build and optimize backend services that coordinate robotic systems and fulfillment operations - Develop solutions that integrate with hardware controllers and real-time processing requirements - Improve system scalability, reliability and performance across distributed infrastructure - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture - Mentor and guide junior engineers through complex technical challenges What we're looking for: - Strong foundation in software design principles and system architecture - Experience building distributed systems at scale - Proficiency in backend development and cloud technologies - Ability to think strategically about long-term technical roadmaps - Track record of taking end-to-end ownership of substantial projects - Problem-solving skills for complex technical problems in automation domains
