About the role: - Work alongside experienced engineers on real-world software development projects within a medical technology environment - Contribute to building and improving applications that support Getinge's product ecosystem - Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities across multiple technology stacks - Engage in hands-on learning with contemporary development tools and practices What you'll work on: - Writing and refining code in C++ and React.js for various applications - Working with scripting languages to automate tasks and enhance functionality - Understanding and applying concepts from computer networks, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity fundamentals, and AI implementations - Learning embedded systems development, including firmware flashing and build tool usage - Troubleshooting issues in both software logic and hardware components What we're looking for: - Strong foundation in C++, React.js, and at least one scripting language - Solid grasp of how software systems operate, covering networks, cloud platforms, security principles, and artificial intelligence - Comfort using source code editors and build tools in a development workflow - Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to break down complex problems - Experience troubleshooting software and hardware systems - Clear written and spoken communication with attention to technical documentation - Ability to read technical specifications and implement them accurately - Comfortable with MS Office applications and modern AI tools Good to have: - Familiarity with Python or JavaScript - Prior work with Internet of Things (IoT) systems or projects - Any hands-on embedded programming experience
