About the role: - Build and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries - Develop server-side services and APIs that power dynamic user experiences - Work with databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity - Collaborate with team members on code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines - Debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes - Contribute to both frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure across the stack What you'll work on: - Frontend development with React.js and Next.js for responsive, performant user interfaces - Building RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js - Database design and queries using PostgreSQL - Styling applications with Tailwind CSS for consistent, modern design - Version control workflows using Git and GitHub for team collaboration What we're looking for: - Proficiency in JavaScript across frontend and backend contexts - Hands-on experience with React.js or Next.js - Comfort working with Node.js and Express.js - Knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts - Understanding of REST API design and implementation - Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first styling frameworks - Experience using Git and GitHub for version control - A GitHub profile, portfolio, or at least one live project you can demonstrate - Genuine interest in learning new technologies and frameworks - Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to debug systematically - Willingness to take on challenges and grow as a developer Good to have: - Experience with TypeScript for type-safe JavaScript development - Exposure to AWS or GCP cloud platforms - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment - Familiarity with Shopify ecosystem and e-commerce integrations - Mobile development experience with React Native Who can apply: - Final-year undergraduate or postgraduate students - Recent graduates from any discipline - Self-taught developers with proven project work What to expect: - Full-time, on-site internship based in Pune - 6-month commitment - Collaborative environment working alongside experienced developers - Exposure to real-world project challenges and professional development practices Note: Email your application to Shruti.n@myfrido.com and share your GitHub profile or portfolio.
