About the role: - Develop and maintain sophisticated T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later versions - Design and implement advanced ETL workflows with dataflow transformations to move and process data efficiently - Monitor system performance and fine-tune code and database indexes for optimal execution - Compile data from multiple sources, build analytical reports, and present findings through SQL, Excel, SSRS, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent platforms - Apply statistical modelling techniques including classification, regression, and association analysis specifically within healthcare data contexts - Translate business objectives and requirements into actionable technical solutions and data structures What you'll work on: - Data warehouse architecture and maintenance using star and snowflake schema designs - Performance optimization and troubleshooting across database systems and ETL processes - Report generation and data visualization for stakeholder communication - Complex analytical projects in a collaborative, deadline-driven setting What we're looking for: - 2 to 4 years working with Microsoft SQL Server - 0 to 1+ years of hands-on experience in advanced ETL development - Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management - Solid grasp of data warehousing principles and methodologies - Familiarity with descriptive statistical modelling approaches for healthcare datasets - Knowledge of star and snowflake schema architecture patterns - Ability to articulate ideas clearly in writing and conversation with team members and clients - Comfort managing multiple concurrent projects within a team setting that moves quickly - Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills
