About the role: - Build and maintain backend systems and APIs that power Edvexa's products - Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and deliver solutions - Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews - Debug issues, optimize application performance and troubleshoot problems - Contribute to the full development lifecycle from design through testing and deployment What we're looking for: - Freshers or those with up to 1 year of professional software development experience - Solid grasp of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL - Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods and how to integrate them - Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities - Enthusiasm for picking up unfamiliar technologies and frameworks - Comfortable in a remote work setup - Clear communicator who works well alongside product and engineering teammates Preferred experience: - Backend projects built with Spring Boot, whether at university or independently - Mobile development using React Native - Version control with Git and GitHub - JWT-based authentication implementation - API testing via tools like Postman - Exposure to Docker, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines or deployment workflows - Awareness of application security best practices and performance optimization What you'll bring: - A mindset geared toward continuous learning and self-improvement - The ability to write code that others can read and maintain - Attention to detail and commitment to quality Note: Subject: [Your Name] – Software Engineer Intern
