About the role: - Develop and maintain backend systems that power scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, and payment processing across a large-scale platform - Design APIs and services that deliver personalised user experiences to millions of daily active members - Work within an engineering team building infrastructure for fitness, wellness, and nutrition products - Contribute to systems supporting both digital and physical offerings including gyms, live classes, on-demand workouts, nutritional products, and direct-to-consumer merchandise What you'll work on: - Backend architecture and microservices that handle high-volume transactions and concurrent user requests - Integration of payment systems and financial workflows - Data-driven features that personalise recommendations and member journeys - Scalability challenges across a multi-product ecosystem serving millions of users daily What we're looking for: - 3–8 years of software development experience - Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot - Competence with Node.js - Ability to design systems that serve at scale - Problem-solving mindset for complex infrastructure challenges
