About the role: - Extract datasets using SQL queries tailored to analytical objectives. - Spot trends and patterns in business data that inform strategic decisions. - Build reports and visual dashboards that communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization. - Ensure data quality by cleaning, validating, and correcting inconsistencies. - Partner with teams from different departments to clarify their analytical needs and deliver insights that address them. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators and respond to requests for custom analysis. What you'll work on: - Translating raw data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes. - Creating summary documents and interactive dashboards for leadership and operational teams. - Running quality checks to maintain accuracy and reliability across datasets. - Supporting decision-making by surfacing insights from historical and real-time data. - Collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams to understand metrics that matter most to them. What we're looking for: - Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases. - Competence in Excel and Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis. - Logical and analytical approach to breaking down problems. - Ability to explain technical findings in clear, simple language. - Solid grasp of data visualization principles and basic statistical concepts. - Meticulous approach to work with strong attention to accuracy. - Familiarity with Python and Pandas libraries is advantageous. - Experience or comfort with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
