Software Engineer Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Work on real-world robotics and autonomous systems projects under mentorship from experienced engineers - Contribute to sensor integration, localization, and navigation features for robotic platforms - Engage with hands-on development of autonomous systems software, gaining practical experience in a production environment - Participate in full-cycle engineering tasks from design through testing and deployment What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of C++ and Python programming with clean, maintainable code practices - Comfort working in Linux environments and familiarity with standard development tools - Knowledge of robotics software architecture and how sensors feed data into autonomous systems - A mindset geared toward learning, troubleshooting, and applying theory to real engineering challenges - Ability to work collaboratively with a team on complex technical problems What will help: - Experience or coursework in Qt or QML for user interface development - Prior exposure to localization and navigation algorithms - Familiarity with ArduPilot or similar robotics platforms - Portfolio or projects demonstrating robotics or embedded systems work Good to know: - This internship comes with a pre-placement offer (PPO) opportunity based on performance
