About the role: - Develop and sustain backend features using Python as the core technology - Locate and fix bugs in code, ensuring system stability and performance - Integrate AI tools into your development workflow to boost productivity, while critically reviewing and validating all generated output - Produce well-structured, readable code that other engineers can easily work with and maintain What we're looking for: - Minimum 1 year of professional backend engineering experience with Python as your main language - Solid grasp of Python fundamentals and real-world exposure to Python in a product company environment - Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools and understanding how to apply them effectively - Strong ability to troubleshoot problems and think through solutions logically - Node.js experience is valued but not required - Background in trading or financial systems is a bonus, though not essential About you: - You write Python code that is clear and maintainable, not just functional - You approach debugging systematically, tracing issues to their root cause - You can evaluate whether AI-generated code is correct and safe before deploying it - You take ownership of code quality and test your work thoroughly before submission
