About the role: - Develop new Android features alongside product and design teams, driving ideas from conception through launch - Enhance app speed and stability through performance optimization and rigorous testing - Implement Android design principles to build interfaces that feel natural and responsive to users - Own complete feature ownership, including technical planning, coding, review, and rollout - Produce well-structured, modular code with thorough unit test coverage - Engage in peer code review sessions to maintain quality standards - Leverage AI-assisted development platforms to write code faster and catch issues earlier What you'll bring: - Hands-on experience building production Android apps in Kotlin - Ability to write Android code that scales well under load and runs smoothly - Solid grasp of core computer science concepts and algorithms - Knowledge of Android frameworks, architecture patterns, and established best practices - Strong analytical skills for breaking down problems and debugging quickly - Comfort communicating ideas clearly and collaborating with teammates across roles - Genuine interest in how users experience your work, and drive to ship features that matter - Resourcefulness in finding solutions and learning what you don't yet know
