About this role

About the role: - Lead test automation efforts with a focus on building scalable and maintainable testing solutions - Design and develop automation frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery pipelines - Create and execute automated test suites across multiple layers including UI, API, and backend systems - Collaborate with engineering teams to identify gaps in test coverage and implement comprehensive testing strategies - Troubleshoot flaky tests and optimize test execution for faster feedback cycles What you'll work on: - Writing and maintaining automation scripts using Java or Python - Performing API testing with tools such as Postman and REST APIs - Automating tests with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium depending on application needs - Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar platforms - Reviewing test results, analyzing failures, and driving improvements to test reliability - Contributing to version control using Git What we're looking for: - 3–5 years of professional experience in QA automation or as an SDET - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering - Strong grasp of core software testing principles and the software development lifecycle - Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java or Python - Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium - Practical skills in API testing using Postman or REST APIs - Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD tools - Competence with Git for source code management - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices - Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities Bonus qualifications: - Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks from the ground up - Working knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques - Exposure to performance or load testing tools - Familiarity with test reporting solutions like Allure or Extent - Background with cloud platforms or test infrastructure setup
