About this role
About the role: - Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure software quality across our platform - Write test scripts and automation frameworks using object-oriented programming principles - Execute both functional and non-functional testing in continuous integration environments - Collaborate with development teams to identify edge cases and improve test coverage - Debug failing tests and analyze root causes of automation issues What you'll work on: - UI automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Appium for web and mobile applications - API validation and testing through Postman or REST API calls - Building reusable automation components and frameworks to scale testing efforts - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools - Version control management and collaboration through Git workflows - Database validation and SQL query execution for backend testing - Performance and load testing using industry-standard tools - Generating test reports and dashboards with Allure, Extent, or comparable frameworks What we're looking for: - 1–2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation or SDET roles - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering - Solid grasp of software testing fundamentals and SDLC phases - Fluent programming skills in Java or Python - Practical experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium - Ability to design and execute API tests using Postman or REST protocols - Working knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD automation platforms - Proficiency with Git for source code management - Comfort with Agile development practices and iterative workflows - Strong analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting capabilities Nice to have: - Portfolio or experience building automation frameworks from the ground up - SQL proficiency and database testing background - Familiarity with performance or load testing tools - Experience with test reporting solutions like Allure or Extent - Exposure to cloud infrastructure or containerized test environments
