About the role: - Design and develop software using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools - Build scalable, maintainable solutions optimized for performance - Take ownership of operational effectiveness and drive technical excellence - Lead complex initiatives and guide team members through structured assignments - Manage risk and strengthen controls in your area of work What you'll do: - Write high-quality code with a focus on scalability and performance optimization - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and devise solutions - Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with peers - Implement unit testing practices to ensure code reliability and readability - Apply secure coding practices to protect sensitive data - Stay current with technology trends and contribute to technical communities - Work on modernizing legacy systems using industry-standard design patterns What they're looking for: - Core Java expertise including multi-threading, garbage collection, data structures, and object-oriented programming - Proven experience building low-latency, high-throughput applications with optimized performance - Ability to rapidly analyze and modernize legacy codebases - Proficiency in Spring Boot development and Spring Core principles - Experience with dependency injection patterns - Hands-on experience with JMS and enterprise messaging platforms like Solace and Kafka (desirable) - Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (desirable) - Experience with build tools like Gradle or Maven (desirable) - Unix/Linux command-line proficiency and shell scripting (desirable) Good to know: - Based in Pune - Full-time role
