About the role: - Develop and optimize database solutions using PL/SQL, with focus on query performance and efficient data structure design - Build backend services and applications in Java, applying object-oriented design principles to create maintainable code - Design and implement relational database schemas, manage database systems, and write optimized SQL queries - Collaborate with teams using Git for version control and code management - Participate in the full software development lifecycle including testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality What we're looking for: - Demonstrated proficiency in PL/SQL and hands-on experience developing database solutions - Strong Java programming abilities with solid grasp of object-oriented programming concepts - Practical experience designing, managing, and querying relational databases - Competence with version control workflows using Git - Understanding of software development practices including testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and systematic troubleshooting Desirable experience: - Background working with Oracle databases or other enterprise-level database platforms - Knowledge of Spring Framework for Java development - Experience building RESTful APIs and implementing CI/CD pipelines - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
