About the role: - Develop algorithmic modules or flows, or lead field-driven algorithmic features as part of R&D - Own responsibility for planning, implementing and testing algorithmic solutions - Work on Matlab-based system and product modules - Guide and mentor junior algorithm developers on your module or flow What you'll do: - Design and evaluate algorithms: problem analysis, literature review, concept selection and implementation planning - Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand requirements, gather data and integrate solutions - Document development processes and accompany implementation, integration and testing phases - Evaluate emerging technologies and competitive solutions in your area of expertise - Contribute to system definitions and understand the broader system and applicative environment What they're looking for: - Deep expertise or broad knowledge in a specialized discipline - Ability to lead others in solving complex problems using sophisticated analytical thinking - Experience interpreting business challenges and recommending improvements to products or processes - Capacity to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements and complexity - Strong communication skills to explain difficult concepts and negotiate different viewpoints Good to know: - Based in Bangalore - Full-time, permanent role - No travel required - Relocation eligible
