Data Analyst Intern (+PPO)

About the role: - Work with data pipelines to extract information from various internal and external databases - Construct SQL queries using foundational techniques like SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY and WHERE clauses to retrieve and manipulate datasets - Examine key business metrics including sales figures, customer behaviour patterns and conversion rates to identify performance trends - Spot inconsistencies and errors in data and work to resolve them before they affect reporting - Build reports and dashboards that support decision-making across the organisation - Streamline manual reporting workflows through automation to free up team time - Partner with business and operations stakeholders to understand their information needs and deliver timely reports - Validate data quality across all outputs and maintain consistency in how information is presented What we're looking for: - Solid grasp of SQL fundamentals and comfort writing queries to explore datasets - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including functions like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for data manipulation - Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail - Genuine curiosity about how data tells a story and readiness to deepen your technical abilities Good to know: - Experience with Python and the Pandas library is a plus - Exposure to visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio is valuable - This role leads to a permanent position offer (PPO) upon successful completion
