Test Automation Intern

About this role

About the role: - Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks including Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, JUnit, and TestNG - Design test cases and manage the complete defect lifecycle from identification through resolution - Build and optimize quality assurance processes aligned with software development workflows - Work with REST APIs to validate system functionality and integration points - Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Git and GitHub What we're looking for: - Current enrollment in a degree program focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a closely related discipline - Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or C# - Hands-on experience or demonstrated knowledge with at least one of: Selenium, Playwright, Postman, PyTest, or TestNG - Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, design patterns, SQL, version control with Git, and CI/CD fundamentals - Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and methodologies with genuine enthusiasm for learning - Capability to communicate clearly—both verbally and in writing—with colleagues across multiple regions and time zones - Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills that drive quality improvements - Familiarity with the software testing lifecycle and software development lifecycle principles
