Research Analyst Intern

About the role: - Investigate industry topics using both primary research methods and established secondary sources - Gather, structure, validate and process data and information relevant to assigned projects - Monitor sector trends, competitive landscapes, emerging technologies and key business movements - Create written research summaries, visual presentations and comprehensive documentation - Identify patterns and meaningful insights within datasets provided - Develop spreadsheets, slide decks and analytical materials for team distribution - Source information from credible online references and databases - Participate in social media analysis and monitoring tasks as needed - Record and file all research outputs and documentation systematically - Work alongside colleagues on research, analytical, creative and technology initiatives - Manage assigned work independently with accountability for on-time delivery - Execute additional research and analytical work as directed by your manager What we're looking for: - Solid capability in analyzing information and solving problems logically - Proven skill at conducting thorough research and locating relevant information - Competence with MS Excel, Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet software - Working knowledge of PowerPoint or comparable presentation tools - Comfort using social media platforms and understanding their functions - Practical experience or familiarity with design tools such as Canva - Exposure to AI applications including ChatGPT and Claude - Ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation - Comfort working with technical tools and genuine interest in learning new ones - Capability to work meaningfully with numerical and structured data - Meticulous approach to accuracy and detail in research work - Effective planning, prioritization and time management skills - Capacity to absorb new information and adjust to shifting priorities Selection preference: - Candidates available to start immediately are encouraged to apply - Demonstrated capacity for rapid learning and skill development - Strong analytical mindset and technical capability - Self-directed approach and willingness to take initiative - Innovative thinking and readiness to adapt to changing circumstances
